Shanna Allen Photography

In college, I lived next door to a group of guys.  I dated one of the guy’s best friends.  Well one of these friends had a serious girlfriend.  Long story short, Shanna’s now husband and my now ex-boyfriend were friends in college.  Crazy to think that we are both married and have kids of our own.  Things change so much.  We are not Peter Pan … we have to grow up at some point I guess.

When Shanna approached me about doing a photo session, I checked out her website www.shannaallen.com  Her photography is fresh and natural.  I fell in love with her style immediately.

She’s located in the Green Bay area so when we were in GB for our Bissing family Christmas and our schedules aligned for a photo session, I had to say yes!

Check out her amazing photos here.

I’m super excited to get a bunch of the pictures printed, in frames and on my walls!  (hello 2012 new year resolution #3).  Moral of this story … I totally recommend Shanna Allen Photography!

  1. OMGosh!!! I love all of the pictures. I especially love how you incorporated orange into the pictures. Owen (as well as Logan, Weston and Jaden) are so lucky to have you as their mom!!!! Oh and btw – I love your hair!!!!

  2. Those are adorable. My favorite is the one where you and Doug are kissing, Jaden is watching, the babies are oblivious (I think one is yawning) and Owen is encompassing you all\ in a warm blanket hug. Now…that is what a family is all about!

  3. Mel I love them, they turned out so wonderful. That was awesome u were able to meet with her cause u were in green bay. I seriously love them all.

  4. PIcs came out great!! Beautiful smiles for everybody. And the Orange in the picture, 100% awesome!! I love how the blanket is over everybody as if Owen is wrapping everybody up in one big hug – made me smile. Great pictures, frame them every where and smile everytime you see them, you have a beautiful family, complete with an amazing guardian angel.

  5. The photo of you and Doug kissing with one triplet yawning and the other laughing is priceless! They are thinking… ‘come on mom and dad….. enough of the kissing!’
