I’m going to start off by making two assumptions. 1. You have heard the saying “actions speak louder than words” and you find truth in the statement. 2. You find value in serving your community and caring for others. AND you want your kids to grow up with the same value.
We were told it when we were growing up and we say it to our own children — Be nice to others. Hold the door open for the person behind you. Clean your plate, there are starving children in the world who don’t have any food at all. But do we SHOW our children the importance of these values as often as we speak of them? Do show them through our commitments, actions and how we spend our time that it’s important to give to one another.
That’s where the Little Warriors comes in. We are an organization that focuses on kid and family friendly service projects. Life is crazy, no need to stress on how to find a way to involve your child. We’ve done the leg work for you. It should be easy to get involved in your community, but that’s not always the case.
Check www.owenslittlewarriors.com often to see what kinds of service projects are being hosted/communicated through the Little Warriors Organization.
